Background
There is an increasing recognition that professionalism needs to be taught and assessed in medical school. The challenge of achieving this will be explored in this interactive workshop.

Intended outcomes
At the end of this workshop participants will be able to define professionism, understand its importance for educating medical students and have a working knowledge of the types of assessment tools used
